We all know Cyberpunk got off to a shaky start on release, but it hasn't stopped the game from going down amazing well on platforms that support it in all its glory, and now, it appears that a VR mod is heading our way, and it could be one of the best to date.
Here's when to expect it, and everything else we know so far.
Cyberpunk 2077 VR Mod Release Date
You can watch an updated 5 minutes teaser for the mod on the below youtube clip.
As reported by PC Gamer, it looks like we could see a CyberPunk 2077 VR mod hit digital shelves in January.
That is of course dependant on a few things, and we're quite sure that the person behind it will want to make it as good as possible before releasing it.
But since this isn't an official release, who's behind this? The good news is that they've got an impressive resume.
The modder, named Luke Ross, is the same person behind the impressive R.E.A.L VR mods for GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2.
If you've either played or seen gameplay of either game, you'll be as excited as we are.
How Will Cyberpunk 2077 VR Work?
Ross' past VR mods are playable via a controller, but also allow for full VR head-tracking.
What that means is that you control movement with the gamepad, but can look around freely based on where you move your head.
This will likely be the case for Cyberpunk 2077 and we're looking forward to it adding a whole new level of immersion into the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 VR Mod Price
Ross' past VR mods are only available to his Patreon followers, which means you'll need to sign up to get them.
As for the price, we'll know more upon release, but right now you can sign up as a VR friend for £8 per month, which gives immediate access to all early development prototypes, including the RDR2 mod.
We've got our fingers crossed that this will all work out swimmingly and it does seem to be in more than capable hands.
