Apex Legends Season 7 is now in full swing, bringing some exciting new additions to the game such as the new map Olympus and a new legend in Horizon.
Thew new Holo-Day bash event is Apex's Christmas celebration and it is looking to be an amazing one.
Now we've moved onto a more chilly holiday. The Christmas event revolved around Mirage, but will it change this year? We can't wait to see what the team at Respawn have in store for us this year.

Patch Notes
The below list of issues come from the official Apex Legends Trello page.
Whilst they haven't been confirmed as 'fixed' yet, they are marked as "Coming in future patch" and could be fixed should Respawn release any key changes with the Holo Day Bash.
Here's what the Trello page tells us:
- Invalid or expired tokens error
- Using an Octane jump pad can prevent user from jumping
- Steam: Lag within the Lobby
- Steam: Issue with players name showing up as long tags
- Placing Sheila on the trident will cause a crash

Trailer
The trailer for Holo-Day Bash was released on the 24th of November.
Showcasing plenty of skins, new map themes and of course the returning LTM!

We also got treated to a Devstream on December 1 as well, so here's that so you can check out what Respawn have to say about the update!
Release Date And Time
The new event began on the 1st December and will end on the 4th January 2020.
We expect this year for the event to start at some point in the second week as it did previously, then lasting till the first week of January.
Here are the expected release times:
- 10AM PT
- 12PM CT
- 1PM ET
- 3PM BRT
- 6PM GMT
- 7PM CEST
- 11:30PM IST
- 3AM KST+JST.
Winter Express Limited-Time Mode
The train is back in World’s Edge just for Winter Express, and this time it’s not the only vehicle descending into the valley around Epicenter.
The supply ships from Kings Canyon are also flying around the frozen explosion.
Winter Express is a round-based mode where three squads battle for control of the train as it makes its way around World’s Edge.
This year, when your squad respawns after a round has finished, you will spawn on your own supply ship as it follows the train.
From here, your squad will be able to survey the battlefield and skydive into combat as the train arrives at its next station and the objective unlocks. The squad that won the previous round will respawn directly on the train.

- Freightyard
- Central Station
- Fool's Gulch
- Derailment
Respawn has also refreshed and rebalanced loadouts for this mode to include new weapons and purple armor for more exciting engagements that really help show off what our Legends can do.
Rewards
This year, Holo-Day Bash contains a rewards track with all-new unlockables.
The rewards track will be available at the same time as Winter Express, December 1 to January 4.

- Holo-Day Bash 2020 Badge – 250 Points
- Mirage Kills Tracker – 500 Points
- 10% XP Boost – 750 Points
- Frostwolf Gun Charm – 1,000 Points
- 10% XP Boost – 1,500 Points
- Solstice Bloodhound Skin – 2,000 Points
- Mirage Wins Tracker – 2,500 Points
- 10% XP Boost – 3,000 Points
- Mirage Damage Done Tracker – 3,500 Points
- Absolute Zero Horizon Skin – 4,000 Points
